My son did top level gymnastics and I home schooled him from grade 1 to grade 11. I felt it was necessary for him to experience his senior year at the high school. That being said…. I would have LOVED to have found this information way back when I was homeschooling him. Anyone home schooling should use these tips. The desk space is great as well as the chalkboard. Even the closet desk. Wow you do have a lot of awesome ideas. I have friends who home school their kids. I will pass this along.

Hi There,
What a great website. I used to be a teacher overseas and really could have done with some ideas like yours for the classrooms space that was often cluttered. I love the niche your in and think this website really reflects on what can be done at home for space for the kids to learn. I think that people don’t realise what kind of kiddies work stations are available for the home so you have really spun light on that. Well Done!
Very Impressive.

Hello Kayla, how are you? I really like your creativity in converting a home into a homeschool classroom. I was wondering if you have any ideas for an 11th-grade boy? I have been homeschooling my son since he was in the 3rd grade and after I revamped my craft room he got a little jealous. I added a few things on the wall this year but not a drastic change. The room he is in is quite large. It is his classroom/ game-room combo. He has an “L” shaped gaming table with a gaming chair, a pecan wood desk with a bookshelf connected to it and a reclining chair, and a love seat to just relax. I want to brighten it up for him and make it exciting. Please help.
Kayla
Hi! It looks like you have a great start! Since you have the essentials, I would focus on his fav colors and interests. Maybe a painted accent wall with his favorite posters. I even upgraded my son’s curtains and rug to something a little more mature than what he had. Maybe have some collectibles on the bookshelf!
